Take a pause for soul care today – and each day this week. Given whatever is goin’ on in your life today, does this invitation sound absurdly impossible or is it wonderFULLY welcome?
If you’re in the US, you may be traveling, have a day or the week off, or spending time feasting with family and friends, during this week of Thanksgiving. No matter where in the world you are or what you are up to, commit today to pausing and contemplating for a moment or two amidst the raw and real of today.
Do it again tomorrow … and the next day, for a week.
Pausing is one of those simple, but often not easy, things to do. But do it, my friend. Take time to stop. To breathe. To take a moment to do nothing. It may be ten seconds or ten minutes. But, for many of us, it may be ten seconds or ten minutes longer than we typically allow ourselves.
As you do, may your eyes see ripples
of beauty and possibility all around you, here and now.
May you know the things
to which to say yes and no,
making plentiful space
for a life that blossoms beyond
your biggest dreams and greatest fears.
If helpful, check out this PoP (Place of Pause) that focuses on gratitude and soul care with a 3-fold movement of being still, pondering, and engaging from Soulfully Ablaze.
You need these rhythms and ways of DOing and BEing as surely as you need air to breathe.
My friend, remember to email me any requests for prayer or extra love/juju.
Don’t go it alone. ❤️
You are loved.
We belong to each other.
Let’s standTALL together and light up the world.
