A Blessing for Seasons of Transition
If you’re in a season of transition… this blessing is for you.
As summer slowly gives way to a new season, I find myself thinking of so many in our community.
Some are sending little ones off to school.
Some are preparing young adults for college.
Some are beginning new jobs, new homes, or new adventures.
Some are preparing for college.
Some are retiring.
Some are grieving.
Some are healing.
Some are navigating relationship changes, caregiving, or quiet transitions that no one else can see.
And, of course, many of us are carrying a little bit of several of those things at once.
It seems we’re all crossing one threshold or another.
So today, I’d simply like to offer you a blessing.
May it meet you exactly where you are.

May this blessing find you exactly where you are.
May it meet you at the threshold you find yourself standing upon today.
Whether you’re stepping into something new…
letting go of something familiar…
or discovering that both can happen at the very same time…
whether your transition is obvious to everyone around you…
or unfolding quietly, deep within…
may you know
you are not alone.
May you remember that beginnings rarely ask us to have all the answers.
They simply ask us to take the next step.
May peace become your companion more than fear.
May courage find you…
one small decision at a time.
May the wisdom you need reveal itself—not always all at once, but exactly when it is needed.
May you discover
that what feels like an ending…
may quietly become
the doorway
to something beautiful
you cannot yet see.
May you discover that you are more deeply loved than you know.
May you remember…
you never take a single step alone.
May you be gentle with yourself as you learn new rhythms.
May you receive help when it is offered.
May you offer kindness where it is needed.
May you trust that the Love that has carried you this far has not forgotten the way forward.
May hope begin to rise, even before certainty does.
May beauty find you in unexpected places.
May laughter surprise you.
May gratitude become a quiet companion.
And when the path ahead feels uncertain…

You do not have to see the whole journey to take the next step.

Friends beginning new chapters.
Parents dropping children off at school.
Loved ones navigating illness.
Graduates.
Neighbors moving.
People quietly carrying burdens no one else can see.
