Today is another COMPELLING PoP with some big – and embedded in you already! – nudges! 8 PoPs left … until our ROUSING FINISH together! So, today, we take a beat and a breath and BEGIN with a moment to keep it real, and to BE STILL, together.

BE Still. Surrender.

Do not tend to doing one thing.
Put thinking aside for now.
Here, you need only BE.
BE still.
BE silent.
BE at peace.

Compassion is a colossally compelling force.

“To be compassionate is to have a heart that suffers from the misfortune of others because we think of it as our own. We are truly compassionate when we work to remove the misfortune of others. The love of neighbor requires that not only should we BE our neighbor’s well- wishers, but also their well-doers.” (Thomas Aquinas)

Take some time to ask—and listen—to compassion’s beckoning. Stay rooted in the day-to-day realities of your life. Look for places of inspiration and clarity about what matters most to you.

These clues for your next steps will be there.
I have a hunch
they are here
right now.
Sometimes you just need to pause,
adjust your focus,
and look in order to find them.

Ponder.

Reread the quote by Thomas Aquinas above. What draws you in? What challenges you? Think on and write about the ways you witness the difference between well-wishing and well-doing around and within you.

Engage. Commit.

Choose one way to BE a well-doer (versus a well-wisher). Again, as always—weave this act into the fabric of your life today. Do what you can with what you have and where you are today. A second nudge. Practice being still and pondering for a moment before you respond to a point of stress today, an invitation to a function, or a relationship challenge … anything. Do it in real time, in the moment. Trust that clarity about the next thing to do (or not) will come out of this short and sweet moment of attention.

Given the state of our world – the Corona virus pandemic, school and work closures, challenges to global markets and personal paychecks – we must take a few moments to BE still and to pause. These days, more than ever, there has been much clamoring for our attention 24-7 with LOUD, FEAR-based, PANIC-inducing messages – but let’s practice peace, together, amidst these stormy days. I share these PoPs so you can FILL UP with peace and navigate this wild and crazy season with strength and courage.

My love is with and for you, my friend. Have a most blessed and beautyFULL day!
