IT’S NEW YEAR’S EVE-EVE! I have one last PoP for 2020.
Let’s. Do. This.
Let’s take a beat and a breath to BE as this year rolls to a close. Ahh.
Be Still (Surrender)
Inhale deeply, fully. Exhale deeply, fully.
Close your eyes, soften your jaw, your eyebrows, and breathe.
Do some gentle neck circles.
Listen, look within.
If there are places in your body where you’re feeling tight,
let go of worry. Just notice.
Imagine softening your furrowed brow,
constricted stomach, or tight jaw.
For at least three full breath cycles,
close your eyes and breathe.
Here and now.
Trust, just trust.
Oof – what a year for so many!! As we wrap up 2020, today, a nudge for your soulFULL consideration … I believe that too much ebbing or flowing is unbalanced and unsustainable. It sets the stage for disaster. Neither the ocean nor you can function for long without the regular, rhythmic patterns of both ebb and flow, quiet and action, solitude and community, self-care and service.
What say you? What’s your sense of your rhythms of ebbing and flowing?
In 2021 and beyond …
May your fuel tank be on empty less often.
May you dream big and love bigger.
More often, may your arms be
merrily flung open to (y)our human family.
May your vision be expanded
to embrace a life of inspired doing
and the nourishing stillness of being.

I share these short and sweet PoPs so you can FILL UP with peace and navigate this wild and crazy season with strength and courage. This year, more than ever, there has been much clamoring for our attention 24-7 with LOUD, FEAR-based, PANIC-inducing messages – but let’s practice peace, together, amidst these stormy days.
My heart and prayers are with you, my friend, as you journey into the new year. May you be DEEPLY and WHOLLY WELL in body, mind, and spirit.
You are loved.
We belong to each other.
Let’s standTALL together and light up the world!
