Love That Pursues | Dawn Gibler + Elijah Rising
Oh, friends… come and see.
This week we’re honored to welcome Dawn Gibler, a warrior of love and justice serving with Elijah Rising, an anti-trafficking ministry in Houston that is courageously reaching people with dignity, truth, and hope. Every day, Dawn and the Elijah Rising team step toward places many would rather avoid—building trust, offering practical care, and creating pathways toward freedom for those who have experienced exploitation. Their work reminds us that justice begins with seeing people as beloved.
This summer, many of us had the privilege of spending time with the Elijah Rising community at the Abolition Summit, where we encountered a beautiful reminder that Jesus isn’t part of the mission—Jesus is the mission. Come hear a glimpse of Dawn’s God-story, discover what God is teaching this remarkable community about courageous love, and join us as we pray for the people of Elijah Rising and for each of us to become people who reach toward others with the same compassion, humility, and hope.
