May you see new ways to give, serve, and connect with those around you. Uncover and offer your one-of-a-kind gift to those near and far. Share and listen to stories. Take little or big steps. Move with bistari (a fave Nepali word for “slowly”) and cultivate robust rhythms in your PoPs (Places of Pause).
May you tend to what is capturing your attention in the struggles of those in your common human family. Explore what is your brave and wholehearted response. As you do, watch for it: the floodgates of comPASSION will open.
They just will.
May you celebrate differences anew and increase your capacity to love in thought, word, and deed. This shift will be surprising in scope, touching your family, next-door neighbors, good friends whose hearts are breaking … and expand to those far away.
May you be present, with eyes wide open to those around you, you embrace a shared humanity of belonging, grateFULLY contemplate your gifts, and eagerly look for opportunities to share what is yours. Here, you are not striving or trying harder, but something better moves you.
May you discover how compassion is a colossally compelling force.
Take some time to ask for—and listen to— compassion’s beckoning. Stay rooted in the day-to-day realities of your life. Look for places of inspiration and clarity about what matters most to you.

Speakin’ of compassion’s compelling force, LEARN MORE about our exciting and current fundraising partnership to provide emergency legal aid that protects refugees from exploitation and human trafficking.
