BE Still with Jesus | Advent | Mini-Retreat
As crazy as it may sound to pause and draw near on a Saturday during the holidays — if you’re drawn to come, come. We’ve created and prayed for this to be a time and a space for your cup to be filled up — a sacred pause with ample room to be with Jesus, Emmanuel, God WITH us — in silence, together.
It’s contemplation in community.
Advent is a gift — a treasure trove overflowing with centuries of writings, prayers, and sacred practices that help cultivate space within you… a warm space where the Love-Light of Jesus (Emmanuel!) dwells.
Whether you’re weary or well this December, doubting or deeply connected, burned out or brimming with joy — this mini-retreat is an invitation to come exactly as you are, to pause, breathe, and BE with Jesus.
There will be small moments to share, as you feel led … but mostly, this will be a time to — you guessed it — BE.

About this Gathering
We’ll draw on some of the voices who have shaped and steadied the Church through this season for centuries, including:
“The word Advent means ‘expectation.’ What Advent can do for us is create a sense of hope.” — Louie Giglio
“The Lord is coming, always coming… Life is Advent; life is recognizing the coming of the Lord.” — Henri Nouwen
“Stay. Sit. Linger. Tarry. Ponder. Wait. Behold. Wonder. For now, stay. Wait. Something is on the horizon.” — Jan Richardson
