If discouraged, may you feel a flicker – a flame! – of hope, of a future, of love.

Light a candle for a person who is wounded and capturing your heart’s attention, whether near or far. This person may be you. Allow the flicker of the flame to be an act of prayer or meditation. Imagine the light of this candle warming the wounded one and kindling the flickering flame of hope.
