This is 1 of 40 weekly PoPs (Places of Pause). OUR FOCUS: LIMITLESS LOVE.

I am persuaded that love is a travel essential on the road to all that is possible.

I also believe that the lens of limitless love allows you to see your next steps and leaps that will lead toward your big dreams and unique inspired purpose on the planet—in your backyard and in distant lands.

Limitless love invites you to live BEloved.

Living BEloved fuels you to be love. Always. Not always immediately, but always. It knows when you’ve been strengthened enough and have filled up enough to be ready for the delight of being love to those around you. It is not a burdensome doing; it is like a dance, like a song, and it is joyful. When this plentiful love is the primary fuel for who you are and what you do, your passion, strength, and courage will be more than enough. Always enough. In the economy of love’s ways, there is perpetually plenty.

Do you hear it? No?
Then, I will whisper it.
You are loved.
Like crazily, over-the-top-ly, fully.
Always have been. Always will be.
Loved. Celebrated. Cherished. DeLIGHTed in.
You are loved, BEloved.

Take it in. Inhale it.
Let it take root. Flourish.
The courtroom—
judgments and words of too much/not enough, good/bad, beautiful/ugly—
is adjourned.
Over. Now. Today, tomorrow, and the next day.
All the days from now to infinity.

BE Still. Surrender.

Welcome, to our first place of pause, of sojourn. Don’t rush by this part. It’s so good and so important. Consider pouring yourself a glass of something deliciously icy or steaming and comfy. Take care of yourself. Light a candle for the pure beauty of it or as a picture of kindling, of getting the fire going.

I invite you to take a breath.
Another one … deeper still.

Now, my friend, pause.
Before you consider anything:
actions or ideas that inspire,
needs or worries that burden,
here and now, take another deep breath.

Idle here for a moment longer.

Hold off on the to-dos, the what-ifs.
And linger in the exquisiteness of BEing.
Sit for ten seconds or ten minutes. Just be.

Ponder. Go Deeper.

What do you think would change in you if you allowed yourself, your thoughts, and your actions to be fueled more by this big, epic, plentiful love of living BEloved? What would you do more or less of? What would be different?

Pick one phrase or sentence that captured your attention in the reading above and write a bit about it. How does it connect with your life, right here and now? Is there a gem in it for you to chew on and sit with for a bit?

Engage. Commit.

Consider how the idea of this active way to be love would fuel you anew today or this week. Identify one person, near or far, who comes to mind— someone who could use a dose of this big love. Allow this person to be you, if you need to gently care for yourself today. Does an inspired action bubble up? Might you send a text or email, do something little or big for this someone?

Perhaps here people are materially well off, but I think if we looked inside the houses we should find that it is difficult sometimes to smile at each other, even though such a smile might be the beginning of love. For this reason, we always greet each other with a smile, because it is the beginning of love, and when one begins to love it is natural to want to do something. -Mother Teresa, Mother Teresa: Her Life Her Works

I share these PoPs because boy, oh, boy! Do I ever need ’em! And, I hope that they create a place in which you can BE STILL, FILL UP with peace, and navigate all that is wild and crazy in life with strength and courage. There is much clamoring for our attention 24-7 with LOUD, FEAR-based, PANIC-inducing messages – but let’s practice peace, together, amidst these stormy days. Not only are we better, together, but dare I say that our lives depend on it now more than ever?

Slow down. Don’t rush. Be still.
As you do, remember:
You are loved.
You belong.
We belong to each other.
