MAKE a difference as you shop!
Not only will you be making a difference in the lives of the women artisans around the world, but 10% of sales from these in-person and text shopping gatherings will be given to our sister, Fatouma, so she can support her family in Ethiopia who are struggling to survive. Here is an article about the humanitarian crisis in Ethiopia right now and about Fatouma’s fundraising need.
A few weeks ago, the crisis in a part of the country called, “Tigray”, spilled over into Fatouma’s village where she was born. Today, there is a lack of food and violence and fear is rampant. People are dying and her heart is breaking. Her community’s school has been burned to the ground, along with their hospital.
She wants to do what she can to help her family survive this challenging time. She asked for our help.
Her goal: $100 per family | 10 families | =$1,000
FUNDS will be used for: Formula for babies, food for the hungry, medicine for the sick, school supplies & uniform for kids (some kids attended the school that burned down – some are in a nearby town). She will give a portion of the money directly to each family so they can buy what they need to survive.
DONATE. Bring/mail cash or a check (payable to Fatouma Ahmed and address to Sarah Davison-Tracy, 4326 Montview Blvd., Denver, CO – 80207 | or venmo @SeedsOfExchange
100% of funds donated will be distributed by Fatouma to her family in Ethiopia. Funds are not tax-exempt.
You are loved.
You belong.
We belong to each other.
Let’s standTALL together and light up the world.
xo, -Sarah DT ❤️🙏🏻🌏
