Last week, I spent the morning with the kids in my kids’ classrooms (kindergarten-fifth graders)
sharing stories, pictures & videos from my time in Nepal in Feb/March. I also brought back a Nepalese coin (they LOVED that! :), a friendship bracelet and note written to each by one of the beautiful kids in the children’s homes we visited. It was a morning full of such love.

We talked about how life can be like a treasure hunt. That we each are here with a gift, a special something to do and be in life. And that it makes our world more beautiful and full of good stuff like love, joy, and peace.
I brought these books and shared with our kids how powerful kids have been in making change happen, working on behalf of things that really matter to them.
Wow. Life is a gift.
