Our Goal: $5,000 to Support Survivors

These funds will directly support women and children (under age 3) in the earliest, most vulnerable days after being rescued from trafficking. Funds will help provide:

• Emergency housing
• Trauma-informed therapy
• Basic medical care

Why HER? Why Now?

HER Campaign was born from a simple but profound calling: to create safe, restorative spaces for survivors of human trafficking. Since 2016, they’ve walked alongside survivors and their families with a continuum of care that includes crisis intervention, emergency stabilization, and transitional living.

Their roots are in Billings, Montana, where they opened their first safe house. Today, they’ve expanded to Denver, and their vision is bold—to build a national network of healing and hope.

What Will This Fundraiser Do?

The $5,000 raised will:

• Fund emergency housing, giving survivors a trauma-informed place to rest and begin healing
• Cover critical therapy and medical care to treat the wounds of exploitation
• Support case management and life skills training to help survivors transition toward safety and independence

To ensure deep and lasting impact, HER Campaign is building data systems to track each woman’s journey from crisis to freedom.

HER Campaign’s Roots in Faith

We loved hearing from HER Campaign’s founder, Britney Higgs. Her passion is unmistakable, and her story might just inspire you, too:

“God broke my heart for this issue after sitting on the ground with survivors in war-torn areas—women who, though physically free, were still trapped in spiritual, emotional, and mental bondage. I cried out, ‘God, where is your restoration after the rescue?’

He gave me a vision for a safe place—the gap between rescue and freedom—and showed me I first needed to heal and know I was His daughter. This work had to come from a place of overflow. Trusting Him with my own heart prepared me to trust Him with theirs.”

HER’s roots in faith propel them to love and care for all people, regardless of faith tradition. Their work is anchored in the belief that every human life carries dignity, value, and purpose.
