SUMMARY:Abolition Summit 2026 | Ending Trafficking Through Jesus-Centered Love & Justice
DESCRIPTION:Abolition Summit 2026 | Ending Trafficking Through Jesus-Centered Love & Justice\n🔗 RSVP + Learn More:\nhttps://www.abolitionsummit.com/ \nIf you’re considering going\, let me know—I’d love to connect and be there together. 💛 \n\nAbout This Gathering\nThe Abolition Summit 2026 is a three-day\, Jesus-centered gathering for those longing to see freedom\, justice\, and restoration break through in the lives of the most vulnerable. \nThis year’s summit will be held at Celebration Church of The Woodlands (just outside Houston\, TX) and features a rare opportunity to learn from Jackie Pullinger—a pioneering missionary who has spent over five decades ministering among trafficked women\, those overcoming addiction\, and the marginalized. \nFrom July 15–17\, come ready to worship\, pray\, and be equipped. \nThrough authentic worship\, powerful prayer\, and transformative teaching\, you’ll be invited deeper into the heart of Jesus—while gaining practical tools and Spirit-led insight for anti-trafficking and justice work. \nWhether you are already engaged in this work or simply sensing a stirring to step in\, this gathering offers space to listen\, learn\, and respond. \nCome ready to link arms—so more people can encounter freedom in Jesus’ name. \n\nAbout Jackie Pullinger\nJackie Pullinger is a pioneering missionary whose ministry began in 1966 in Hong Kong’s Kowloon Walled City. \nThere\, she founded what became St. Stephen’s Society—a community rooted in prayer\, worship\, and holistic restoration for those overcoming addiction\, gang involvement\, prostitution/trafficking\, and homelessness. \nHer story is captured in Chasing the Dragon\, and her decades of faithful service have impacted countless lives around the world. \nAt the Abolition Summit\, Jackie will share hard-won wisdom on healing\, discipleship\, and the church’s role in bringing freedom to the exploited and forgotten. \n\nA Note from Sarah DT\nThe global KINGdom collaboration with my sisters in Nepal to write No Longer Untouchable: A Story of Human Trafficking\, Heroism\, and Hope lit a fire in me that has never gone out. \nIt opened my eyes and my heart to the realities of human trafficking—and to the invitation to not look away\, but to lean in with Jesus\, contending for freedom\, justice\, and restoration. \nGatherings like this feel like part of that ongoing “yes”—a chance to keep learning\, keep loving\, and keep showing up where it matters most. \nHuman trafficking is one of the spaces where I feel deeply impassioned to warrior with Jesus—for freedom\, for justice\, and for the restoration of dignity\, hope\, and wholeness in every life. \nGatherings like this remind me that we are not alone in this work—we are part of a much bigger story God is writing across the world. \nI am so excited to be attending this year’s summit—and if you’re coming too\, I’d LOVE to connect\, share meals\, pray together\, and BE alongside one another. \n\nReady to join?\n🔗 Learn more + RSVP here:\nhttps://www.abolitionsummit.com/ \nEmail Seeds with ANY questions: connect@seedsofexchange.org \nxo\, -Sarah DT + the Seeds Fam

SUMMARY:Contend + Connect (via Zoom) | DREAMS DEFERRED ARE NOT DREAMS DENIED with Lauren Jacobs (SOUTH AFRICA)
DESCRIPTION:Contend + Connect (via Zoom)\nPraying His Good News into faith\, hope\, and love—in us and through us. \nThursdays | 9:00–9:40 AM (MT)Following Seeds Devotions + Community Prayer | 8:30–9:00 AM \n🟡 Come for one or both (same Zoom link for ease)👉 CLICK HERE TO JOIN via Zoom \n\n🕘 9:00–9:40 AM (MT) | Contend + Connect\nA deep space of story\, Scripture\, and Spirit-led prayer as we contend together for what God is doing—in our lives\, our communities\, and across the world. \nGod-stories that stir faith.Love that cannot be stopped. \nThe words of Jesus woven into everyday life—fueling us (and the world)with faith\, hope\, and love. \nHere’s what—and who!—to expect this week ✨(buckle up\, buttercup!) \nThis week\, I’m so excited to share our soul sister\, Lauren Jacobs — a talented\, multi-award-winning author\, radio journalist\, theologian\, and advocate. Through her work as a specialist in the Old Testament and the Ancient Near East\, Lauren has taught across continents and written nearly 500 articles focused on women in the Bible. She is also the author of five books and has spent years courageously reporting on issues including gendercide in China\, abuse against women\, faith and abuse\, female ritual servitude\, and more. \nLauren has contributed to more than two dozen international publications and was a TEDx Cape Town speaker in 2018\, where her talk\, “A Forgotten History: Where Are Our Women?”\, sparked meaningful global conversation. Today\, she serves on several advocacy and historical organization boards and continues to help people engage Scripture\, history\, justice\, and the heart of God in transformative ways. \nAnd part of what Lauren senses God stirring for this gathering is this:\n“Dreams deferred are not dreams denied.” \nTogether\, we’ll lean into those places where the trenches of life\, grief\, survival\, disappointment\, exhaustion\, or heartbreak can make dreams feel forgotten\, buried\, or almost dead. We’ll make space to contend for hope again. For renewal. For resurrection life. For the gentle but persistent call of God that still whispers beneath the survival-mode noise:\nThere is more.\nDo not give up.\nThe story is not over. \nAs we hear these stories and reflections together\, we’re reminded that what God is doing around the world opens the door for us not only to pray\, contend\, and cheerlead\, but perhaps to sense His nudge to step in and be part of this incredible movement of love\, justice\, and good news ’round the world! \nCheck out Seeds Devotions + Community Prayer on the calendar for more about this beautyFULL gathering. \n\nThree Things to Know\n1️⃣ All are welcome.Friends\, family\, neighbors—ANYone seeking peace\, hope\, and connection. \n2️⃣ Come as you are. This isn’t polished or perfect—it’s real\, Spirit-led\, and rooted in everyday life with Jesus. \n3️⃣ Stay as you’re able.Join for a few minutes or the full time. SUMMARY:ISRAEL | A Journey of Peace\, Presence\, and Prayer
DESCRIPTION:On Thursday (April 30)\, I leave for Israel. \nWhat began as a wedding invitation\nhas become a pilgrimage… \nA wedding\nPeace\nPrayer\nPresence \nAs I step into a land marked by deep beauty and deep conflict\,\nI go with a desire to listen\, to learn\, and to be present\nto the people and stories that shape this place\nacross cultures\, histories\, and lived experiences. \nAnd truly\, this trip\, like all of my life\, is ROOTED in Jesus:\nin His presence\, His love\, His way\, and His invitation\nto BE His hands and feet of love in the world. \nI go with open hands\nand a listening heart. \n  \n\n  \nTravel dates \nApril 30 | Depart \nMay 1–2 | Arrive in Israel and spend Shabbat with friends \nMay 3–6 | Unfolding\, still…\nA blend of time in historic and sacred places\,\nwith space for meaningful connection across diverse perspectives \nMay 7 | The wedding \nMay 8 | Travel to Eugene\nfor a mom’s weekend with our daughter\, Soph\, and her sorority sisters and roommates (and their mommas) \nMay 12 | Return to Denver \nI’ll share a few reflections after I return.\nWithout my computer along the way\, it will be at least the week of May 19 before I share updates \n  \n\n  \nSPOKEN WORD: One Human Family\n\nAs I prepare to go\, this has been stirring in me…A spoken word to carry… together.Drawn from Soulfully Ablaze—a reminder of who we are to one another. \nAs a global human family\,this is our momentto stop seeing one another as separate\,as other\,as strangers. \nThis connection with people we call our ownchanges things—it will change us.It will open the doorfor us to unleash more of who we are.It will fan the flameof our one-of-a-kind purpose on the planet. \nAt the heart of every issue\,\nevery conflict\,\nevery problem\nwe speak of\nin the news and in conversationare people: \nmothers\, fathers\, children\, grandparents\,brothers\, and sisters. \nThey are people with flesh—with legs\, arms\, eyes\, eyelashes\, and fingernails. They are peoplewith laughter and longing\,dreams and desires. \nThe purpose and powerof this way of seeing one anotheris that it forges a compelling\, compassionate connectionthat changes our thinkingand our actions alike. \nWe—together—become bound by belonging. \n\n  \nThank you for holding this journey with care and prayer. 🤍 \nxo\, -Sarah DT + the Seeds Fam
